Personal Profile
Patrick Bruce is a graduate of Technological University Dublin, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Management, and Masters of Science in Environmental Health and Safety. Patrick also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. Patrick is currently completing his doctoral studies PhD in the School of Health Sciences in Technological University Dublin
His research focus is on the causes and effects of stress on teachers in second level schools in Ireland. His doctoral advisors are Dr Victor Hrymak and Dr James Curtin. Patrick teaches mathematics, and construction sustainability on the Bachelor of Science in Construction Management programme in Technological University Dublin and also teachers woodwork to students with special needs in the Rehabilitative Training Unit of the Central Remedial Clinic in Clontarf, Dublin.
Research Interests
Patricks research interests include but are not limited to stress, leadership, workplace bullying, well-being, construction, interpersonal conflict and workplace misbehaviour.
