Patricia Mannix McNamara

Personal Profile

Patricia is currently Head of the School of Education in the University of Limerick. She began her career as a post primary school teacher before completing her PhD in the examination of supervisory relationships from a critical theory perspective. Patricia teaches courses on professionalism, research methods and health promotion in Ireland and abroad at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is now involved in the structuring and teaching of the newly rolled out Masters of Education in Educational Leadership program. 

Research Interests

Patricia’s research interests currently include bullying (workplace and school), power, organisational well-being, organisational relationships, organisational culture, stress and burnout.
