Personal Profile
Dr. Lisa Pursell BSc PhD began her scholarly career on completion of a primary degree in Biology at the University of Derby and a PhD in Microbiology at NUIG. Dr. Pursell is currently a lecturer and Head of Discipline of Health Promotion in the School of Health Sciences, NUI Galway. She has previously worked as a senior researcher in the Health Promotion Research Centre, NUIG, as a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Microbiology, NUIG and as a data manager at the Veterinary Laboratories Agency in the UK.
Research Interests
Lisa’s research interests include Health and well-being associated with human and other species interactions, workplace ill treatment and health inequity.
